These socks are designed after the old "Combination Classification" jersey of the Tour de France which was in existence from 1968-1989. The competition was intended to identify the best all-round rider in the Tour by combining the general, mountain and sprint (both intermediate and final) classifications. The jersey featured random patches of green, red, white and yellow across the top half of the jersey with red polka dots on the bottom half. These socks mimic that same design and are intended for those nostalgic for the former jersey.

The socks feature 4 inch high cuffs. They are cool enough to wear in the summer and are equally effective in cooler weather.
